What VideoToGame is
VideoToGame (videotogame.org) turns a gameplay video or a written game idea into a small game you can play in a web browser. The result is a real game written in HTML, JavaScript and Three.js, not a video you watch.
How a build works
- You describe a game or paste a link to a short gameplay clip, then pick a game type and controls.
- If you start from an idea, an AI video model renders a short gameplay clip first. The clip fixes the look, camera and movement.
- A coding model studies the clip and writes the game: controls, collisions, scoring, levels and sound.
- You get a link to play it, can ask for changes in plain words, and can keep or share the game.
Every build waits in a queue first. Your build page shows the real status of each step, and we email you when the game is ready.
Where things stand
VideoToGame launched on October 30, 2026. Builds are accepted into the queue now; we are opening build slots in the order builds were submitted. Accounts and paid plans come later, and the pricing page shows what each action will cost.
What it is not
VideoToGame is an independent project. It is not affiliated with Google DeepMind (Genie), MiniMax, any game studio, or the open-source Video2Game project. It does not copy existing commercial games or their artwork, and you should only submit videos you have the right to use.
